Fast vs. Slow Fashion
What do we mean by fast and slow fashion:
Simply,
Fast fashion denotes lower-quality, low-priced, mass-produced and machine-made garments often using unethical work practices that quickly end up in landfills. Slow fashion garments in contrast are made by hand, using equitable labor, consume time to produce, use artistic talent, have better quality, source and use sustainable materials and are higher priced.
Slow fashion brands build pieces made to last, pass on and be used again and again.
